Tanisha McKenzie
Tanisha McKenzie is a retired police sergeant from the New York City Police Department who has transitioned into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her journey began when her son, Tristan, was diagnosed with autism at the age of two and a half. Witnessing the transformative effects of ABA services on his life ignited her passion for this discipline.
Tanisha became a Registered Behavior Technician while completing her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue University, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the process. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Forensic Psychology and is a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
As a dedicated and hardworking professional, Tanisha thrives in both team environments and independent roles. Her strong time management skills and adaptability enable her to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
